I heard on the news the some people going to see the wildflowers left the paths and damaged the delicate terrain. I hope you didn’t see any of that. Love your photos.

Yes, I also heard that. People can be unthinking, not realizing that their excitement over the fliers can damage them. I have not been to where the expansive blooming is. There are patches of poppies in the hills around my home, mostly up on steep hillsides, like this particular one. These poppies were left untouched, but I stepped in and then fell in mud after taking these photos. It’s been very wet here!
