This is very intense and powerful. I can imagine a number of different interpretations – two exhausted bodies giving up and laying down to die, or a metaphor for the extremes of climate change. Anyway you see it, it’s really well done.

You know, it’s funny you say that. I did not notice that there were two branches until after I posted it. I took the photo mainly because I liked the subdued lighting and the submerged, heavy wetness, which is fleeting when it does appear. Later I realized it was two branches that looked like they were just…. done. Very intriguing! I think I take pictures and post certain pictures from a subconscious viewpoint. Only to see later on that it’s symbolic of something.
